Mourinho leaves Casillas out of squad for his last Real Madrid match despite Lopez’s injury

Jose Mourinho has taken his feud with Iker Casillas to the last day, leaving the goalkeeper out of his matchday squad for his last game in charge of Real Madrid, against Osasuna on Saturday evening.

The Portuguese manager, who is heading to Chelsea this summer, has left the former number one on the bench since the turn of the year, but claimed there was no bad blood between them. Instead he has preferred Diego Lopez, who arrived from Sevilla between the sticks.

It was also rumoured in Spain’s biggest selling sports daily Marca, that Casillas and fellow captain Sergio Ramos, had urged club chairman Florentino Perez to fire Mourinho before next season.

Adan will start in goal for los Blancos on Saturday, while the 4th choice keeper will be on the bench.
