Mourinho gives updates on Sir Alex Ferguson’s condition

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has disclosed that Sir Alex Ferguson’s health condition is getting better, adding that the family are “very positive”.

Recall that the legendary United boss was rushed to hospital after suffering a brain haemorrhage last weekend.

Reports claim he is now out of a coma and talking to his family, who have remained with him in hospital.

Speaking at his Wednesday press conference, Mourinho said: “His family asked for privacy and that’s what I am going to respect.

“They are positive, they are very positive. We are confident.”

Mourinho also insisted that Ferguson’s plight will not cast a shadow over United’s preparations for the remainder of the season.

“I can only think that if there is any relation, there is a positive relation,” he added.
