Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, is growing frustrated at the club’s lack of activity in the transfer market this summer.

According to The Sun, the Portuguese is asking the board for funds, to bring in a few big-name signings before the window closes.

Radamel Falcao is the only senior player that has arrived at Stamford Bridge since Chelsea were crowned Premier League champions. The Colombian striker has signed a one-year loan deal, after failing to impress at Manchester United last term.

Asmir Begovic is expected to join the Blues, after Petr Cech left for London rivals, Arsenal and will become Thibaut Courtois’ back up.

Mourinho wants to add a striker, midfielder and a defender before the new season, as he eyes a defence of their league title and go further in the Champions League.
