Mourinho eager to land Danny Rose from Tottenham

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has made a new left-back his priority, as the summer transfer window draws to a close.

Mourinho is eager to make at least one more signing, having brought in three new faces.

According to Daily Record, the Portuguese is considering making a bid for Tottenham’s Danny Rose.

It is understood that Mourinho will be playing a formation with wing-backs more frequently this season and wants to sign a player who has the ability to fill the role.

So far, he has shifted left-back duties between Daley Blind, Matteo Darmian, Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw and Ashley Young, depending on match strategy and form

Rose is desperate to leave Spurs, after coming out to publicly criticize the club for their lack of transfer activity .
