Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte will escape sanctions from the Football Association over their increasingly acrimonious war of words.
ESPN reports that the governing body currently has no plans to intervene in the row between the Manchester United and Chelsea managers.
Although the FA has the power to contact both Mourinho and Conte for explanation on their recent verbal exchanges, it is hoped that they will end their rift soon.
Should the feud escalate, it is understood that the FA could review its position.
In 2005, then-FA chairman Geoff Thompson, publicly threatened to punish United and Arsenal unless the two clubs acted to end the long-running verbal spat between Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger.
