Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho, has admitted that two or three of his players were “far from good”, as they were beaten for the second time this season.

Bakary Sako and Joel Ward scored either side of Radamel Falcao’s goal, to give Alan Pardew his third league win over Mourinho.

The Blues are now eight points off eladers Manchester City after four games and Mourinho has said some of his players weren’t on top form.

“I cannot say I had 11 players at the same time performing. To be fair, 2-3 of them, individual performance far from good,” he said.

“I blame myself not to change one of them, because I kept him in the game for 90 minutes.”
