Former Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, has claimed that Arsenal goalkeeper, Petr Cech, will return “home” after the Europa League final next week.
There have been calls for Emery to leave the Czech stopper out, after it emerged this week that the goalkeeper has been offered a role by his former club, who the Gunners will face.
While Cech isn’t Arsenal’s first team keeper, he has been playing ahead of Bernd Leno in the Europa League and is now set to start the final.
“It is Petr Cech’s last football match. I think it is the match you would choose if you could chose a match to retire.
“This would be the match and I’m pretty sure that before he comes home, it looks like he comes home, next season, to Chelsea, I think of course he would love to do it in a winning way because he is a winner. He’s won so many things,” Mourinho told Sky Sports.
