Barely aday after a certain man allegedly stole a mobile phone at Emab plaza in Abuja and escaped, the suspect was nabbed on Tuesday for theft in the same location.
He was said to have re-visited the plaza to make away with another phone after he successfully got away with his act on Monday.
DAILY POST gathered that luck however ran out
on him yesterday after he stole another mobile phone worth N210, 000 at the plaza in the Federal Capital Territory at about 2:30pm.
An irate mob then pounced on him, as a way of also paying for his previous misdeed.
Sources told our reporter the yet-to-be named suspect thought to try his luck a second day after he stole the first phone worth N140, 000 and got away with it.
A source said, “He was lucky on Monday. He stole the phone and was only noticed after he had gone far from the arena.
“I’m sure he had a vehicle on standby waiting to pick him up.
“Na God save am today, mob for beat am die, but for the intervention of policemen.”
Although DAILY POST could not establish which police station he was taken to as at press time, he was said to have escaped being lynched before he was handed over to mobile policemen.
