Mkhitaryan admits Pogba’s injury will make things difficult for Man Utd

Manchester United midfielder, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, has admitted that an untimely injury to team-mate Paul Pogba makes life, “very difficult” for Manchester United.

The Red Devils are still unsure as to how long Pogba who was forced from the field during United’s Champions League opener against Basel on September 12, will be side-lined for.

Mkhitaryan acknowledges that the Frenchman will be a big miss and his absence will be felt by Jose Mourinho’s Premier League title hopefuls.

The Armenian International told SFR Sport, “It’s hard, because he’s a top player for us.

The 28-year-old added, “It’s going to be very difficult, but the coach knows how to make up for that and we’re going to help him come back stronger.”

United will on Wednesday start the defence of their EFL Cup crown with a home date against Burton Albion.
