One of the missing Chibok schoolgirls has been found in the Sambisa Forest, close to Nigeria’s border with Cameroon.

Although, a few of the girls have been found, it has been over a year since any other girl from those abducted by Boko Haram terrorists on April 14, 2014, was found.

A government source told DAILY POST Wednesday afternoon that the girl, Amina Ali ,was found by a vigilante group on Tuesday in the Sambisa Forest and was identified by one of the civilian fighters who recognized her.

“We are all at the Government House waiting for them to bring her,” the source said.

“The Governor is also on ground to receive the girl.”

Confirming the development, activists and Chairman of Chibok Community(Abuja), Tsambido Hosea Abana, said it is true that one of the abducted Chibok girls – Amina Ali Nkek, was found by the vigilante group yesterday in Kulakaisa area, at the fringes of Sambisa Forest.
