Ministers, APC leaders sabotaging Buhari – Abia guber aspirant, Ukauwa

A governorship aspirant and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Abia state, Ambassador Chidike Ukauwa Ukauwa expressed worry over the actions of some APC leaders who he alleged, were on a mission to sabotage President Muhammadu ‎Buhari’s government.

He called on Mr President to reshuffle his current cabinet for more effective performances.

He equally told the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to perish the thought of returning to power in 2019, noting that no candidate can match Buhari if he declares to seek reelection.

Ambassador Ukauwa who spoke to newsmen in Umuahia, the Abia state capital on Tuesday, said President Buhari will return in 2019 to enable him consolidate on his achievements.

He urged Ndigbo to disregard malicious propaganda being launched by PDP against the APC-led government, maintaining that Buhari had live up his electoral promises.

He said: “I’m assuring you that no candidates from PDP or another party can match President Buhari in 2019 election. And let me make it clear to you that this time around, the people of south east zone will massively vote for him. Nigeria President of Igbo extraction can only be actualized in APC. That’s the only alternative for Ndigbo.

“We will ensure Buhari completes his second term to enable ndigbo have their shot in 2023. You can see the President has performed well, various reforms are going on in the country under his administration which has given the nations economy a facelift.”

“President Buhari should reshuffle his cabinet and inject fresh blood. Because some of the ministers who claimed they are working with Mr President are rather sabotaging his administration.

“Some of the party leaders who are insincere, are secretly working with the opposition to sabotage APC-led government,” he said.

He called on all APC members to remain steadfast and work collectively for the success of the party in 2019 election.
