The Nigerian Military has released pictures from the military operations in Gombi, Pelia and Hong in Adamawa State where they routed Boko Haram terrorists.
Defense Headquarters said the towns had now been fully recovered.
Some of the terrorists have been captured alive, while others were killed in the operation, the statement indicated.
Also, vehicles, hideouts, weapons and ammunitions were destroyed.
It added that the “mopping up exercise is ongoing in the areas, while the troops are moving to other communities in what has been described as ‘Operation No Mercy against Terrorists'”.
