Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, has confirmed that midfielder, John Obi Mikel, will not be available until next month.
The Super Eagles man, who has missed the last four games for the Blues, has undergone minor knee surgery to correct a problem.
“Mikel had a little surgery on his meniscus,” Mourinho told the press.
“We are expecting him to be out for about a month – one week is already gone. There is not too much optimism or pessimism.
“I would say he will return first week of April.”
Mikel Obi will now miss the Blues’ games against West Ham, Southampton and Hull City and the Champions League round of 16 home tie against Paris
