Mikel Obi pays Saraki courtesy visit in his Abuja home [PHOTOS]

Super Eagles captain, John Obi Mikel yesterday paid a courtesy visit to the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, ahead of Saturday’s crucial World Cup qualifier against the Chipolopolo of Zambia in Ndola.

Mikel arrive the nation’s capital to join other members of the team as they prepare for the encounter.

The Chelsea midfielder took some time off to visit the Abuja home of the Number 3 citizen of the country.

Saraki shared the message via his twitter handle @bukolasaraki, Tuesday morning, saying, “Had the pleasure of hosting @mikel_john_obi yesterday & nice to get to know him off the pitch. Assures of a great game against Zambia”.

Mikel, who dismissed rumours of him being injured during the weekend, is expected to wear the captain band as the Super Eagles tackle the Zambians in the match day one of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers in Ndola, Zambia.
