Mikel Obi, Ighalo left out as Nigeria names squad for Senegal, Burkina Faso friendlies

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has released a 25-man squad for this month’s friendly matches against Senegal and Burkina Faso.

Chelsea’s Victor Moses, Manchester City starlet Kelechi Iheanacho and Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi are included in the list.

Only one Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) player is included.

John Obi Mikel and Odion Ighalo were not included, to allow them settle properly at their new clubs in the Chinese Super League.

Nigeria face Senegal on March 23 before taking on Burkina Faso four days later at the Hive, home ground of Barnet Football Club.
