Super Eagles captain, Mikel Obi and teammates have reacted to the new Super Eagles World Cup kit designed by sportswear company, Nike.
Nike, on Wednesday unveiled the kits Nigeria will wear at this year’s World Cup in Russia.
In a YouTube video, some of players showed likeness for the new jerseys unveiled in London on Wednesday.
While reviewing the designs, Mikel said: “This is Nigerian. I can see the players going crazy over this one.”
Ndidi said “This is cultural, the fans are going to love this one”.
“This is different, you know,” Iwobi added, while Iheanacho added saying “you know I love black, so this is perfect. I’m happy.”
Former Eagles player Mutiu Adepoju said the Jersey could be a lucky charm for the Eagles in Russia.
On his twitter handle @mutiuadepoju8, he said “the kit reminds us of our jersey in USA 1994. Believe me, this kit could be our lucky charm in Russia.’’
