If Jonathan Ebele Goodluck jettisons his 2015 electoral ambitions, there would be temporary peace in Nigeria. Following the bombings and chaotic happenings in the past couple of days, one question that keeps poking the mind of Nigerians is this: what is the way out? The only available solution one can bring up, at this moment, is for the president to step aside.
Before the staunch supporters of the president bury the author, it is very important that we understand why this would be a very good move.
First, the man named Goodluck brought untold measure of bad-luck to the Nigerian populace. The facts are not hard to find. Over one thousand deaths has occurred in the man’s regime and the numbers keep rising with astronomical speed and yet, there is no sign of positive strategies to find a way out.
Second, he has gathered around himself a team of pathetic losers. Reuben Abati, labaran Maku, and his other political bigots have only paid lip service to the people of Nigeria. Nothing good comes out of their mouth apart from a senseless defence of a failing president. How about calling the man aside, over a couple of hard whiskey then stating emphatically that “guy, you don fuck up, big time!”
Another good reason for one to question the credibility of this government is to look at the different sectors in Nigeria. Education has been in the back burner of the so-called developmental processes in the country and the effect can be seen in the half-baked graduates that parade the streets of Nigeria. They have no sense of what their tomorrow holds. This idleness has trickled down to an avalanche of devilish acts carried out daily. Furthermore, electricity, security, etcetera have been the same failures.
There is no need mentioning the abduction of the over two hundred girls from Chibok. The hash tag bringbackourgirls says it all. The happening has brought Nigeria to international limelight. Every time you turn to the news, the tales of a dwindling country stares right at you like a tragic drama.
Next up on the list of unscrupulous elements promoting the president’s inadequacy is his wife, the Dame Patience Goodluck. What a sack of hag! A saying by Simmon de Beaviour is worth stating here: “To catch an husband is act; to hold him is a job.” The dame has done a disservice to women all over the world as she has brought untold shame not only to herself but also to her husband and the country. She obviously cannot hold him. With her display of ignorance and unethical behaviours she has been able to show the world that Nigerians are a group of people who enjoy swimming in the waters of blood “shearing”.
For the country to move from this shallow existence into a height of sensible plateau, President Jonathan Ebele Goodluck should forget about running in 2015. He claims, however, that he’s not sure about his ambition. We know that is an awesome lie.
Of course, we cannot forget that there is a war among the political parties in Nigeria. There has been a switching from one party to the other. There have been betrayals in every facet of the Nigerian political scheme. But hey, that’s politics; it’s filled with all kind of beasts. The people however, want a good one.
For the sake of the next generation and for the sake of peace, it is either the man steps aside or enjoys an upsurge of untold hardship, deaths and miasma in a country he did not help build. There are devils and there are devil’s advocates but one can boldly conclude that our man Goodluck boasts of holding the two characteristics like a cherished dull. It is time for you, sir, to drop the ball.
