The National Puicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Olisa Metuh has just arrived the Federal High Court Abuja for contiuation of his trial.
Metuh is standing trial for allegedly collecting the sum of N400m from former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki . The money was meant for the purchase of arms to fight insurgency.
In the trial so far, three witnesses had at different times been presented to the court by the persecution to testify against the embattled PDP spokesmen of how money running into millions of naira were received and transfered to Destra Investment, a company Metuh allegedly has stake in.
The third prosecuting witness yesterday told the court how Metuh was part of the 78 persons and companies that were awarded contracts from the office of the National Security Adviser but never executed them.
Today’s trial has commenced.
