Lionel Messi wants Barcelona to sell four players, before he puts pen to paper on a new contract with the La Liga club.
According to Spanish publication, Don Balon, the Argentina captain wants Munir El Haddadi, Thomas Vermaelen, Arda Turan and Andre Gomes to leave the Nou Camp.
Messi, who got married last weekend, is demanding for improvement at Barca, after they lost their league title to rivals Real Madrid last season and crashed out of the Champions League against Juventus.
Although he is willing to sign the new deal before going away with his wife for a break, he has told the club’s officials to freshen up the squad.
Messi’s current contract expires at the end of next season.
Paris Saint-Germain star Marco Verrati remains at the top of new manager Ernesto Valverde’s wishlist.
