Barcelona captain, Lionel Messi has named one player that Ernesto Valverde’s men need following their 4-0 victory over Espanyol in the La Liga fixture played on Saturday night.
Goals from Lionel Messi (2), Ousmane Dembele (1) and Luiz Suarez ensured victory for Ernesto Valverde’s men against the hosts.
According to Messi, fellow teammate, Ousmane Dembele was the player Barca need.
Dembele has been directly involved in eight goals in his last eight games for the Catalan club in all competitions this term.
The France international has scored three goals and assisted five so far this campaign.
Speaking about Dembele, Messi was quoted by Marca as saying at post-match: “He’s very good.
“He wants to play, he had a good game, scored a goal and was important. We need him.”
Barcelona will now tackle Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday night in the Champions League fixture at Camp Nou.
