Messi, Neymar, Ronaldo make Ballon d’Or final shortlist

Lionel Messi, Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo, have been named the 2015 Ballon d’Or final three nominees.
Messi is the favourite to win the prize, having led Barcelona to a famous treble last season. It will be his fourth time of taking home the accolade if he is announced winner.
Ronaldo is the current Ballon d’Or holder. The Real Madrid forward will be hoping to defend his crown and draw level with Messi for overall wins.
Neymar will join his Barca team-mate on the podium this year. The Brazilian was the joint-third top scorer in La Liga last term with 22 goals and formed a deadly front trio with Messi and Suarez.
The Ballon d’Or ceremony will take place on January 11, 2016.
