Messi, Neymar disagree over Coutinho’s move to Barcelona

Liverpool midfielder, Philippe Coutinho, is believed to be the source of debate between two of Barcelona’s stars, Lionel Messi and Neymar.
Neymar, his international team-mate, wants him to come to the Camp Nou this summer. However, Messi is eager for the club to buy a deep-lying playmaker instead, namely Marco Verratti from Paris Saint-Germain.
Messi believes the La Liga club, badly lacks the magic of Andres Iniesta in his prime and that of Xavi previously.
Last month, Coutinho said he would rather be revered at Anfield, than be “just another player” at Barcelona or Bayern Munich.
The Brazilian has been constantly linked with a move away, despite only signing a new long-term contract in January.
Coutinho insists he will see out the deal which runs out in 2022, but which time he would have established himself as a legend at the Premier League club.
