Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, is to appear in Spanish court as one of the three advisers to the Real Madrid superstar for the case of alleged tax evasion committed by the striker.
Mendes has been called to give evidence along with two of Ronaldo’s other advisors, Luis Correia and Carlos Osorio, on October 19.
The Judge, Monica Gomez Ferrer is optimistic of clarifying the role of the trio in relation to the Portuguese International alleged €14.7m image rights tax discrepancy, El Mundo reports.
The report states that the three men are “paid handsomely so he (Ronaldo) does not have problems and this sort of nonsense.”
