Manchester United forward, Anthony Martial, was pictured leaving Wembley Stadium in crutches, after France’s 2-0 loss to England in a friendly game on Tuesday.
Martial was replaced in the 67th minute by Antoine Griezmann and was later seen with his left foot heavily bandaged as he left the stadium.
His national team coach, Didier Deschamps, insists it is not a serious injury.
“He was in quite a bit of pain after the match. He got a kick in the penalty area,” Deschamps said.
“I think it’s just a knock rather than anything else to the top of his foot.”
Martial has scored five goals for United, since his big-money move from Monaco last summer.
