Many injured as Hausa, Igbo traders clash in Jos

There is an ongoing fight between Hausa and Igbo traders in Jos, the Plateau State capital, DAILY POST has learnt.

It was gathered that several people have been injured along Rwang Pam street, an area said to be dominated by Igbos, and Ahmadu Bello way.

Police and other security officials have, however, arrived to calm the situation.

A reaident, who gave his name as Ojobo told DAILY POST that several houses and shops belonging to Igbo traders have been destroyed.

“I barely escaped with my life as we speak. I don’t event know where my parents are.

“Many Igbos boys have been injured. Tell the police to come to our aid,” he told DAILY POST on phone with a shrieking voice.
