Many feared killed, 13 cars razed as tanker explodes in Edo

About 13 vehicles were on Friday morning reportedly burnt while many persons were razed to death in a fire resulting from a tanker explosion

The incident, according to the Nation happened around 5:30am in front of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH).

The fuel-laden tanker was said to have exploded after a collision with a truck and a commercial bus.

Men of the Edo State Fire Service were said to have arrived the scene to put out the fire.

As at time of filing this report, the tanker was still burning.
