Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho,is still unsure about whether midfielder, Paul Pogba will be fit for their UEFA Champions League last-16 clash against Sevilla on Tuesday night.
Mourinho’s men earned a goalless draw in Spain last month and tonight’s return tie may still come too soon for the Pogba to return to action after the he suffered a gashed leg in training.
Mourinho confirmed that the French international is now back in action, but having missed Saturday’s 2-1 win over Liverpool, he may need a little more time on the sidelines.
“He did [train] after you left,” told Sky Sports, confirming that although Pogba was not present at the open training session, he had participated.
“I don’t know yet [if he is fit to play] but he trained a little bit,” he added.
Mourinho will, therefore, have to make a late decision over whether to include Pogba in his starting line-up against the Spanish club.
