Manchester United vs Leicester City: Mourinho hands captain armband to Pogba

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has named Paul Pogba as the captain of the team, for their Premier League opener against Leicester City on Friday night.

Pogba, who won the World Cup with France last July, starts in midfield along with Andreas Pereira and new boy Fred.

Juan Mata, Marcus Rashford and Alexis Sanchez lead United’s attack.

Super Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho, starts upfront for the Foxes at Old Trafford.

Man Utd XI: de Gea, Darmian, Bailly, Lindelof, Shaw, Fred, Andreas Pereira, Pogba, Mata, Rashford, Sanchez.

Subs: Lukaku, Martial, Smalling, Grant, Young, Fellaini, McTominay.

Leicester XI: Schmeichel, Amartey, Morgan, Maguire, Chilwell, Ndidi, Adrien Silva, Ricardo Pereira, Maddison, Gray, Iheanacho.

Subs: Evans, Vardy, Albrighton, Ward, Iborra, Fuchs, Ghezzal.
