Manchester United will bring in Jan Oblak, if Real Madrid finally gets David De Gea this summer.
The Old Trafford club have done the groundwork and spoken to Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Oblak, who is keen on making the switch.
United will however only move for the 24-year-old, if they fail to keep De Dea ahead of next season.
There is a chance De Gea will leave for his native Spain, after six years in England and one aborted move to Real Madrid in 2015.
United would demand a world-record fee for a goalkeeper of £60million, if they decide to sell the 26-year-old.
Oblak has a £85m buyout clause in his contract.
