Paul Pogba has admitted he could return to Manchester United in the future and described the club as his “first family”.
The Juventus midfielder, has been strongly linked with a move away from Italy this summer, with United and Real Madrid keen on his signature.
Pogba, who left United on a free in 2012, has a reported £100million price tag.
When the France international was presented with the shirts of all three clubs during the ESPY awards on Wednesday, he said about the Juventus jersey: “It’s my team, my family. It’s where I’m playing. When I wear this [shirt], I’m happy, I’m happy to play football. It’s something I’ve wanted to do since I was little. I’m happy here.”
He was then handed a United shirt, to which he first made a joke – “I don’t know them!” before adding: “It’s my first family.”
On Real Madrid, Pogba said: “A great club.”
