No agreement has been reached between Manchester United and Jose Mourinho, according to Sky Sports News HQ.

The former Chelsea manager is keen to replace Louis van Gaal after this season, but no deal has been agreed between both parties.

Van Gaal’s future is up in the air, despite the Dutchman leading the Red Devils to their first FA Cup final in nine years and still in contention for a Champions League ticket.

United’s executive chairman, Ed Woodward, has appointed two managers in three years and is not so eager to fire Van Gaal, whose current deal runs out next year.

Paris Saint-Germain’s head coach, Laurent Blanc, has also been linked with the Old Trafford role.
