Nigerian artistes and their brand of unique music, are beginning to get a lot of attention from a good number of foreign celebrities.
First, it was Keri Hilson, who fell in love with Flavour Nabania’s ‘Asewo’ tune. The American singer specially requested for the song, when she was in Abuja, to perform at the Face of Sofa event and danced on stage to it.
It’s the turn of another foreign name, this time it is Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinand, who has fallen in love with Timaya’s ‘Bom Bom’.
He tweeted on Thursday night: “Track of the day: Bom bom by Timaya….like this a lot! #afrobeats”.
