Former Holland coach, Danny Blind, has claimed Jose Mourinho has six ‘untouchables’ in his Manchester United squad.
Blind, who is the father of United defender, Daley Blind, stated this as an analyst on Dutch TV covering Saturday’s 4-0 demolition of Crystal Palace.
The 56-year-old’s son was a substitute and his father claimed that Mourinho’s squad know the rest are battling for five places.
“They are David De Gea, Antonio Valencia, Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba, who is currently injured, Romelu Lukaku and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
“For Mourinho, that is the frame of his side. Valencia is also his captain. Around these six chosen ones, he keeps changing the players.
“Sometimes he makes a choice between Marcus Rashford or Anthony Martial. Sometimes it is Blind or Ashley Young or, rarely, Matteo Darmian,” Blind said.
