Manchester City’s new signing, Joao Cancelo has identified fellow Portuguese, Bernardo Silva, as one of his best players in the world.
Cancelo said this during his first press conference with the club’s official website on Thursday.
The 25-year-old, who became Pep Guardiola’s third signing of the summer on Wednesday following the respective arrivals of Rodri and Angelino from Atletico Madrid and PSV Eindhoven, noted that Silva is a ‘great’ player.
Cancelo said: “Bernardo is a great player. We have a great relationship. For me, he is one of the best players in the world,” he said at his first press conference.
“It’s a pleasure to play with him.”
He added: “City have great quality players so I will try and bring my own quality, and improve on my weaknesses.”
