Man stabbed to death while attempting to settle dispute in Lagos

While attempting to broker peace between an Okada rider and his passenger, a 42-year old man, Demola Talabi was stabbed to death in Osho street, Opebi, Lagos.

Dailypost gathered that the Okada rider simply identified as Igali used a screw-driver to stab Talabi on the neck and other parts of his body for preventing him from fighting and stabbing his passenger.

Unfortunately, the Ogun state born father of two bled to the death at the spot of the incident before help could come from any quarters.

Confirming the tragic incident, the late Talabi’s younger brother, Ayo, said when they heard the news, they rushed to the scene only to discover that Talabi had given up after losing so much blood.

An eye witness also revealed that the late Talabi met his untimely death on his way to visit his mother who resides at 14, Irewole Street, Opebi, when he ran into the Okada man and his passenger exchanging words over destination.

Tabali acted like the Good Samaritan and attempted to intervene in other to make peace between the duo but infuriated Igali brought out a screw driver and stabbed him several times.

His body has since been deposited at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH, mortuary for autopsy reports to confirm the actual cause of his death. While, the Okada man is presently cooling his feet at the Ikeja Police Station.
