The case was reported by his father in law, Baba Ibrahim to police.

According to him, he found out after one of them became pregnant.
The police prosecutor, Sgt Hayatu Musa explained to the court that the accused person, Mohammad Baushe, was reported by his father-in-law, Baba Ibrahim, who is father to the two girls.
He said Ibrahim told the Police Criminal Investigation Department that Baushe of forestry area in Damaturu lured his two daughters and had carnal knowledge of them.
“The accused, who lived in the same compound with the girls, began abusing each of them sexually when they were under four years old until they reached 9 and 12 years.
“The parents got to know about the abuse when the elder sister was diagnosed to be six months pregnant, and identified the accused as the owner of pregnancy,” he said.
The accused, however, pleaded guilty to the offence levelled against him.
The presiding magistrate, Abubakar Lamba Maluri, in his ruling ordered for more evidence to prove the case beyond reasonable doubt.
