Man commits suicide inside uncompleted building

An unidentified man has committed suicide in an uncompleted building in Sefu Elelede, Ibafo area of Ogun State.

It was gathered that the body of the deceased was discovered hanging in the living room of the uncompleted building by an electrician, identified as John who had gone to inspect the structure. The electrician consequently raised the alarm.

The owner of the house was said to have reported the incident at the Ibafo Police Division.

Officers attached to the Ibafo Police Division in company of a medical practitioner, were said to have removed the corpse to the mortuary.

It was further learnt that the deceased was confirmed dead on getting to the hospital. He allegedly committed the act five days before the discovery.

Confirming the incident, the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Muyiwa Adejobi, said the identity of the victim was yet to be ascertained, adding that the corpse had been deposited in the mortuary.
