Coach of Mamelodi Sundowns, Pitso Mosimane, has warned his team not to take Enyimba’s loss to Zamalek for anything, given the condition of the pitch on which the match was played.

The NPFL champions were beaten 1-0 at the Adokiye Amiesiamaka Stadium in their first group game of this season’s CAF Champions League.

Sundowns welcome Enyimba next Wednesday, in their second Group B fixture, after defeating ES Setif 2-0 in their first game.

“We are not worried about our opponents, but will give everything all the same. I will not read anything into Enyimba’s loss to Zamalek on a very bad pitch,” Mosimane told the club’s website.

Mosimane also admitted that they were using this year to garner experience, so they can challenge for the title next season.

He added: “We have another chance next year and that will be our major focus.”
