Abdu Maikaba has left his post as coach of Wikki Tourists, after leading the Bauchi club to fourth place in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

According to reports, he is set to join Abia Warriors, after agreeing terms with the Umuahia team.

“Maikaba has quit Wikki and he is now strongly linked with another premier league side, Abia Warriors,” a source told AfricanFootball.

Maikaba, who has previously managed Enyimba and Kano Pillars, is said to have quit because Wikki refused to offer him an improved deal.
