Head coach of Wikki Tourists, Abdu Maikaba, has said his team will not give up on winning their first Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title this season.

The Bauchi club currently trail league leaders Enugu Rangers by three points, with two games left to finish the season.

Maikaba insists they will continue to fight for the title until the end of the campaign.

“Wikki still has the chance to win the league as we are only three points behind the leaders, Enugu Rangers,” he told Rivers United Media.

“We have a better goals difference compared to Rangers so if they lose an away game, we will be tied with them on points but we need to win our last two matches.”

Maikaba takes his team to Ibadan this weekend, where they will face relegation-threatened Shooting Stars, in their penultimate league fixture.

They finish the season at home against Sunshine Stars.
