Madonna University alumni holds special convention in Asaba

All is now set for the special convention of the Madonna University Alumni Association, MUAA, billed for Saturday (December 3) at the Tourists Garden Hotels in Asaba, Delta State, from which a new national executive committee is expected to emerge.

The event which holds every three years brings those who graduated from Madonna University together to review issues that affect the alumni and also keep abreast of current developments in the university.

The major aim of the 2016 convention, according to the Alumni is to amend its constitution and elect new National Officers.

During the reunion, the MUAA National President, Chima Achu will be presenting a scorecard of what has so far been achieved by the National Executive Council, NEC.

Disclosing this in a statement issued on Friday, Achu assured that efforts have been made to make the stay of delegates in Asaba comfortable and safe during the convention, assuring that the outcome of the convention would be of great value to Madonna university and its students.

He thanked members of the alumni for reposing confidence in him for six years of two terms
