Romelu Lukaku scored his first Manchester United goal, as the Red Devils made it two wins from two pre-season matches, following a 2-1 win over Real Salt Lake.

Lukaku, who arrived this summer from Everton for £75million, made his debut in United’s 5-2 win over LA Galaxy last week , but missed a couple of chances to score.

However, he was not to be denied on Monday, as he latched onto Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s pass and rounded the goalkeeper before steadying himself to bury the chance.

His goal made it 2-1, after Mkhitaryan had cancelled out Luis Silva’s opener.

Jose Mourinho’s men finished the match with 10 men, after substitute Antonio Valencia was sent off with 22 minutes left at the Rio Tinto Stadium.
