Looters’ list: Buhari, Tinubu, others in APC also corrupt – NAC Chairman, Agoro

National Chairman of the National Action Council (NAC), Dr. Olapade Agoro on Sunday claimed that President Muhammadu Buhari, his son, Yusuf and other chieftains of All Progressives Congress (APC) including APC national leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu are as corrupt as Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftains listed as corrupt by the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed on Friday.

DAILY POST recalls that Mohammed had at a news conference in Lagos listed PDP National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, Chief Olisah Metuh, Chief Raymond Dokpesi among other PDP stalwarts as corrupt.

But Agoro, in a statement sent to DAILY POST in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital, while reacting to the list of corrupt politicians released by the APC government, declared that President Buhari, his son, Yusuf, Tinubu and other APC chieftains are also corrupt.

Agoro, while asserting that there is no difference between the APC and PDP, said it was worrisome that the APC whom he described as “kettle” that has spent three years doing nothing is now calling the PDP which he termed “pot”, as black.

He said the APC should remember that people who lives in a glass house should endeavour not to throw stones.

Agoro said one may be compelled to ask if President Buhari can summon or call anybody as corrupt, considering the number of corrupt practices he and his son and other politicians in APC like Tinubu have purportedly committed.

The NAC presidential aspirant said Buhari was flown to Gambia in the state of the art private aircraft owned by Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Buhari on a visit to Tinubu Lagos residence saw too many cars therein compelling him to ask the owner of the estate (Tinubu) if he was selling cars. Agoro claimed that these were evidence of corruption in Buhari and Tinubu.

Agoro while speaking further remarked that, Yusuf, the son of the President during his recent accident snubbed the nation’s health facilities and was flown abroad at the expense of tax payers, describing this as an evidence of corruption exhibited by Yusuf, the son of President Buhari.

He continued that President Buhari last year was flown abroad for medical treatment at the expense of tax payers. Agoro stressed that this is another evidence of corruption by the President who said he was fighting corruption.

The presidential hopeful said another evidence of corruption is the fact that streets, shops and roads in Lagos and airspace were closed for some hours because Buhari was attending Tinubu’s 66th birthday celebrations in Lagos to the detrimemt of Nigerians.

Agoro, while insisting that there are thousands of corrupt politicians in APC, alleged that the “APC itself is also a den of armed robbers, unfit to be seen among decent peoples of the land.”

He said, “It becomes deeply saddening rather than interesting that APC, “kettle” calling the PDP, “pot”, black, the APC mad men jokingly calling the PDP mad people.

“Nigerians with human feelings and good sense of understanding must indeed by now seriously and sincerely asking ourselves how we got here, where we are now at this unfortunate situation having allowed ourselves to have been inflicted by satanic forces with shameless, no human feeling liars, political rogues and day light robbers as our leaders.

“Otherwise, where is the difference between those having nothing good to do to the cause of humanity, the APC, the Party in government and PDP, the opposition party, both now seen dancing nakedly in the market square throwing senseless banters against themselves on who stole the best among themselves.

“They have uselessly both forgotten that people in glass house do not throw stones.

“The unprintable, unforgettable and unforgiveable mess Nigeria was thrown into by 16 years of PDD misrule and that of 3 years of APC in power.”

Agoro stressed that “In all honesty, one may be compelled to ask if President Muhammadu Buhari can summon or call anybody corrupt considering the following eye beguiling acts of the federal government.

“When he too (Buhari) not too long ago was flown to Gambia in the state of the art private aircraft owned by Bola Ahmed Tinubu himself.

“When on a visit not too long ago to Lagos house of Tinubu, to his shock and embarrassment saw too many cars therein compelling him to ask the owner of that estate if he was selling cars.”

Agoro added that “On Thursday 29th March 2018, Buhari flee to Lagos for Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 66th birthday, offices and roads leading to Nnamdi Azikwe Airport Abuja and air space from Abuja to Lagos were all cleared for Mr. President, they were all closed down for about an hour or so, all against economic interest of the nation and safety of the people.

“When not too long ago he and Yusuf his son snubbed the nation’s prime medical care facilities to spend the nation’s foreign exchange earnings receiving treatments on ailments that surely can be cured fine, nice and good here in Nigeria.”

The NAC national chairman then declared that “Whilst one can not stand tall defending APC alleged treasury looters, one thing surely undeniable is the fact that APC itself is also a den of armed robbers, unfit to be seen among decent peoples of the land.”

He concluded that, “obviously because there lies a thin line of difference between Muhammadu Buhari’s APC led government that provides cover up for the corrupt elements and that of Goodluck Jonathan who usually drank to stupor opened the treasury to the looters, summary of which is that Nigeria without the useless two of them APC, PDP rotten eggs deserves the best to happen in 2019 for development and progress.”
