Five Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) fixtures, have been rescheduled by the League Management Company (LMC).
The Match Day 29 game between Rivers United and Ikorodu United, which was to be played on July 31, has been moved to August 11 at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port Harcourt.
According to a statement released by the media officer of Rivers United, Sammy Wejinya, they had made the appeal following an auto crash involving their official vehicle on July 28.
The accident left several players and officials injured.
Also, Enyimba’s four outstanding games have been rescheduled.
The NPFL champions, will now take on Sunshine Stars in Port Harcourt on August 3 and Wikki Tourists on September 7.
