Liverpool vs Arsenal: Klopp reveals secret to 4-0 win

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, has hailed his team following their 4-0 win over Arsenal on Sunday.

Roberto Firmino opened the scoring before Sadio Mane maintained his record of netting in every game so far this season. Mohammed Salah and substitute Daniel Sturridge added more goals, as the Reds ran riot.

“After midweek games you have to reach the mountain immediately,” Klopp told the BBC.

“You really feel it is intense, we wanted to force ourselves to be strong physically and that is what we were. We were really well organised.

“If you give Arsenal space and time you lose before the game starts so I don’t think they could do a lot of what they wanted, Arsenal, and that is all credit to the boys because they worked really hard.”

The German was asked about Philippe Coutinho’s absence once again after the match.

The Brazilian is believed to be a Barcelona target and was missing at the game played at Anfield.

“It is not about confidence in this situation, it is about what the owners have said,” Klopp told Sky Sports.

“That is the situation. There is no problem like this. You can imagine, if he had been a part of this game it probably would not have been worse huh? Today we had 11 outstanding individual performances.”
