Arsenal striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has said they are determined to “match the big guns” this season, ahead of this weekend’s trip to Liverpool.
Aubameyang has scored the winning goal in both of the Gunners’ games so far this season.
The Gabon striker netted the solitary strike in a 1-0 at Newcastle United and followed that up with the winner in the 2-1 victory over Burnley on Saturday.
And Aubameyang has now insisted that his side are ready for the challenge on Merseyside.
“I think as I said earlier we have made good signings, that will help us.
“Last season, we were not far away from qualifying for the Champions’ League.
“Whatever happens, that is the most important thing, the most important aim for us. To be back in the Champions’ League.
“Aside from that, to fight for the title, we know very well that the big guns are ready but we are also ready and in any case we are going to give our all to match the big guns if possible,” he told Canal+.
