Two Liverpool stars, Mohamed Salah and Mane were caught fighting over who takes the spot kick in their 4-1 win over Manchester United in a pre-season game on Saturday.

Salah was dragged away as he argued with Mane over penalty duties in Michigan, United States.

Liverpool were on top in the early exchanges and were given the opportunity to take the lead from the spot when Salah was bundled over by Demetri Mitchell inside the area.

Salah looked set to take the spot-kick he had won and called for the ball, but Mane instead decided to take over penalty duties.

Salah was annoyed and bemused that he was not allowed to take the penalty, saying something to Mane as he walked back to the edge of the box.

Mane duly dispatched the penalty, planting the ball in the bottom corner despite Lee Grant guessing the right way.

Mane, however, was keen to make amends with his teammate afterwards and jogged over to Salah after celebrating his goal with the rest of the squad and dedicated the strike to him.

Liverpool’s lead did not last long in Michigan, with Andreas Pereira scoring a stunning free-kick to level the scores, but the Reds ran riot in the second half to claim a 4-1 win over Jose Mourinho’s men.
