Liverpool are closing in on a €50m (£43.7m) deal for Monaco’s Fabinho.
The two clubs have agreed a fee for the Brazilian midfielder, although a final deal is yet to be completed.
Sky reports that Liverpool will pay €45m (£39.3m) plus a maximum of €5m (£4.3) in add-ons for Fabinho, who can also play in defence.
He will replace Germany international Emre Can, who is expected to leave Anfield and sign for Juventus this summer.
Fabinho, who has won four caps for his national side, has scored 31 goals in 230 appearances for Monaco during his five-year spell in France.
