Edinson Cavani and Neymar Jr. scored for Paris Saint-Germain, as they saw off Monaco 2-1 on Sunday, to go nine points clear at the top of the Ligue 1 table.
On-loan striker, Kylian Mbappe, missed the first chance of the game against his former team, before Cavani netted his 16th league goal of the campaign, with a neat flick over goalkeeper Danijel Subasic.
PSG continued to dominate possession and extended their advantage after 52 minutes, when Neymar rolled in a penalty after he was barged over by Almamy Toure.
The French champions pulled one back, after Joao Moutinho’s free-kick was deflected in off Mbappe.
PSG remain unbeaten in all competitions and have dropped just four points in 14 league fixtures this season.
