Ligue 1: Neymar makes history in win over Dijon

Paris Saint-Germain star, Neymar has broken the European top five leagues record in the 8-0 thrashing of Dijon Wednesday night.

The Brazilian International, who scored four goals and provided two assists, became the first player in Europe’s top five leagues to register 10 assists this season.

Neymar also reached a couple of landmarks.

The 25-years-old scored his first PSG hat-trick as part of a four-goal haul with strikes after 42, 47 and 73 minutes, plus a late penalty.

But it was his role in the second of two Angel Di Maria goals which saw him become the first player in any of Europe’s top five leagues to provide 10 assists this season.

Neymar joined PSG in a world-record transfer from Barcelona last summer.
